Get an accurate read
A few tips for an honest result.
The assessment is only as useful as the answers you give it. Four quick things before you begin.
Answer for today
Score how your organization operates right now — not the best you’ve ever achieved, and not where you’re headed.
Use the twelve-month test
If you can’t point to an example from the last twelve months, don’t score the higher level.
Calibrate together
For the most reliable read, answer as a short conversation among your budget, planning, and reporting leads.
Hold one scope
Assess one organization or planning unit at a time, and keep that boundary the whole way through.
What you’ll get
Your full profile, the moment you finish.
- A profile across all 15 domains, each placed on the five-level scale
- Two co-equal sub-scores — Process and Enabler — so neither outweighs the other
- Plain-language reading of where you sit and what typically comes next
- A downloadable report you can share with your team — free, the moment you finish
Good to know
A few things before you dive in.
How long does it take?
About 20 to 25 minutes. It moves quickly once you start, and there are no trick questions — just pick the statement that best matches how you operate today.
Do I have to finish in one sitting?
Yes. Your progress isn’t saved, so set aside the time before you begin. If you leave partway through, you’ll start over.
Will I be contacted afterward?
No, unless you ask. Your results appear the moment you finish, for free. Sharing your contact details is optional and only used if you request a follow-up.
Want an outside read on your results? Once you’ve finished, a Tru advisor is happy to talk them through — entirely optional, and only if you ask.
